Addington Land Company, LLC (Addington), a Kentucky Limited Liability Company, was formed in the mid 90’s as a privately owned company controlling approximately 22,000 acres in Boyd, Carter and Greenup Counties in northeastern Kentucky.
These properties had previously been surface mined, leaving hundreds of acres of flat to gently rolling areas, which can now accommodate commercial, industrial and residential development.
In 1997, Addington donated 1000 acres to the local authority, the majority of which is currently being developed as East Park.
Addington also contracted with the Ky Department of Transportation (KDOT) to donate sufficient acreage for the construction of a four-lane highway connecting Interstate 64 and U.S. 23, a distance of about 14 miles.
With the completion of State Route 67 in 2003 (also known as the Industrial Parkway), Addington owns prime real estate for commercial, industrial and residential development, providing quick access to this newly developed roadway.
This page is dedicated to making potential developers aware of this property, and a general review of this particular section of the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
